To the untrained eye, all new carpets (including the junk ones) look pretty good. But British Carpets don’t sell junk, so you can feel confident that the carpet they put in will last the distance. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending British Carpet Co. The carpet itself is beautiful – beautiful to look at and also to feel under your feet. The texture and colours are stunning. It doesn’t look like your ‘run of the mill’ type of floor covering. It was worth the wait. The service was exceptional also. Wayne was great to deal with, knowledgeable and very relaxed, not at all pushy. The carpet layers were polite, obliging and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving the job. To deal with a company with exceptional pride in their products and equal pride in the installation was cherished. We spent some time looking before we found British Carpet. When we did I was a little concerned regarding the cost compared to others in the market place. But when it comes down to value for money British Carpet far outperformed any of the other players. I was a builder for many years in US prior to moving to Australia and I must say Wayne, Tony and their staff delivered the best service and product I have seen from either side of the Pacific.
