“Wayne and his team first recarpeted our two story terrace in 2008 with a hard wearing US made nylon carpet. However after 16 years it was getting harder to keep it clean. So we decided to recarpet, and had no hesitation in re-engaging British Carpets for advice and a new carpet. Wayne advised that Covid had resulted in some rationalisation of carpet manufacture in the US, and that Europe was now a better source for high quality carpet. There was some uncertainty about delivery because of the Red Sea rebels, but in due course our order was delivered. Installation was straight away with master layer Tony and his boys, and involved furniture moving and two separate stairways that are very fiddly to carpet. Tony, of course, was familiar with our house, as he did the laying back in 2008. The finished job looks terrific and we are very happy with the outcome.”
